Rangamati COVID-19 cases rise to 208

Rangamati cross the two hundred landmark of covid-19 positive last night. Now, total of 208 people identified positive in this district. A new test report came from Chittagong Veterinary and  Animal Science University (CIVASU) on Monday night, found that ,  25 more people in the district tested positive for corona.

A total of 208 people were identified in the district.  Earlier in the day, 27 people were identified , 14 of whom were members of police from Kaptai .

Dr. Mostafa Kamal, Focal Person for Corona of Rangamati Civil Surgeon’s Office confirmed the matter.

He said, A total of 58 reports came from CIVASU on Monday night. Of these, 25 positive cases were found.

The previous day, 27 people were reported to corona positive.

According to the Civil Surgeon Office on Rangamati, the newly affected peoples live in  Police Line, Kathaltali, Kiyong Para of Barkal Upazila, Master Colony, Swarnatila, Islami Bank rangamati branch , Happy’r More, Traffic Office, Police Super Office.

Among the victims are two employees of Islami Bank and One couples living in Happy’r More area. Besides, most of the victims are identified from police department.

This is the first time, A woman patinet identified positive in Barkal upazila. Before this case, this upazila was free from COVID-19.

Civil Surgeon Office Confirmed that, A total of 208 people were identified COVID-19 positive in Rangamati, 77 of them have recovered and returned to normal life and 6 people already died.
