Another 14 COVID-19 positives cases has been identified in Hill district Bandarban, including workers of known Lumbini Garment Factory.
The matter was confirmed in the report of Cox’s Bazar Lab on Monday night.
According to the health department, 14 people, including workers of a garment factory in Bandarban, have tested positive for corona.
Among the newcomers, Most of them from Lumbini Garments workers. 1 from Madhyam Para, 1 from Tiger Para, 2 from Talukdar Para, 1 from Wabdabridge area, 1 from Banani S’mil Para, 2 from Lalmohan Bagan area, 1 from Balaghata, 2 from Islam Para, 2 from Lumbini Quarter, 1 without address.
With this, the number of corona cases in the district increased to 64 people.
Confirming the incident, Bandarban Civil Surgeon Dr Angsui Pru Marma said that, 14 people identified in the district on Monday from different areas of Bandarban Sadar. Among them the number of garment workers is higher.
