On the first day of June, 7 more COVID-19 Patient were identified in Kaptai upazila of Rangamati.
A report from two Corona test center’s in Chittagong on Monday night found the seven to be positive from 59 Reports. After this report, total of 68 corona were identified in the district.
Dr. Mostafa Kamal, Focal Person for Corona of Rangamati Civil Surgeon’s Office, confirmed the matter. However, he could not immediately provide details of this seven.
He said that, on Monday night, a total of 45 peoples reports received from the Bangladesh Institute of Tropical and Infectious Diseases (BITID), out of which 7 people tested positive.
At the same time, the reports of 14 people from Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (CIVASU), all came negative.
Dr. Mostafa also said, out of these 7 newly infected people in Kaptai, three are men and 4 are women. Everyone is under 40 years of age. Among them are a 9-year-old child and an 18-year-old girl.
After the first 4 corona were identified in Rangamati on May 6, the corona of 61 people was identified in the whole month of May. 10 of them have recovered and returned to their normal life.
According to the report that came on the first day, of June on Monday, 7 more people were found to be infected. In all, 68 people have been identified in the district.
