Rangamati’s COVID-19 Positive increased to 14

COVID-19 positive results of four more nurses were found in Rangamati on Wednesday night.

Dr. Mostafa Kamal, Focal Person of Corona  Affairs of Rangamati Civil Surgeon’s Office, confirmed the matter at 11 pm.

The positive report of 4 nurses of the hospital came at Wednesday night.

The doctor said all the affected nurses are staff nurses, working at Rangamati Sadar Hospital.

Earlier on Wednesday evening, one doctor from Rangamati Sadar Hospital, another doctor practicing outside and two in Bilaichhari and another in Rajasthali were reported to be infected.

This is First time in Rangamati,  maximum of 9 people are infected in one day.

The reports of 5 patients who came in the evening were examined at Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Science University (CVASU) and 4 people who came at night were examined at Fauzdarhat Specialized Hospital Bangladesh Institute of Tropical and Infectious Diseases (BITID).

At First, positive results of corona test of 4 people come in this district on 6th May,But after sending the second phase sample on 7th May, their results came back negative on 10th and 11th May.And the third phase sample was sent again. That report has not come yet.

In the meantime, on May 12, another person’s report came positive. And at last, today 9 people came positive in two phases. A total of 14 corona cases were reported in this district.
